George Miller was born in France, March 3, 1837, a son of Jacob Miller, and a native of the same country, who died there. He immigrated to America in the fall of 1866, and purchased 120 acres of land in Dayton Township, this County, where he lived and had about 40 acres under cultivation. Politically, Mr. Miller was a Republican.
