The Cole Creek Post Office was established on April 27th., 1904. The office was located in Beaver Township, halfway between the Huber and Shaw Post Offices, on Cole Creek. David Maynard was the only Postmaster. When the office closed on Feb. 28th., 1907 the mail went to Hesperia. You can find the Cole Creek Post Office on the 1906 Rand McNally map of Michigan.
