Dear Sister and Brother

Your long looked for letter was received this noon. was glad to get a letter from home once more. and more then pleased with the pictures I think they are splendid. How I wish I could see little Mable.

I think Pa is awfull mean have not had a letter from home in allmost three weeks. Shall not write to him again untill he answers my letter.

Nell do you know whether "Mrs Phillips" has gone away. have not had a letter form her since I left Flint. I received one of their Wedding Cards.

Carrie McGlone is not married yet nor will not be untill he "her fellow" gets some business learned so he can take care of a wife. He does not amount to much.

Ida McGlone Gibbson came home last night. She is either going to live with her folks or going to house keeping. I guess they do not get along any better then other people. I am sorry you missed the chance in not seeing Mrs Walker. you say that she could not stay away form Jay. I guess she could not stay away from her boarders. I am sorry and still I am glad poor Grandpa Smith is dead for he is much better off. I should think that Neal P. would be ashamed but she will get pay on time. Where is the Lawrence family. Has Uncle Lon_ left her and gone West. I wish I could have seen Mary G_ and baby how they are all coming out with babies. I guess I will have to try my luck. Will wrote and told his Mother I was making dresses to large for a doll and too small for myself. I will let you judge for yourself when I come to Flint next week. I was coming today Wednesday but it is raining and has been for the past week but I guess I will come a week from today. You must look nice at your house by what you are having done to the house. I suppose our folks feel almost as bad about "Biger" as they would if we should die. What was the matter. I was telling Mrs "Watrous" that I would have to get his picture out and put it in mourning. "Does Ma and Agg_ dress in black." I should think they would. Did Mary Goodrich say whether Hallie was married or not. Where do they live. I have got me a new hat for nice and am going to get me a hat for every day it is going to be the shape of a Leghorn but not as large then I am going to have it pleated on the underside with this white thin stuff and have it on top with the same and my bunch of red roses on the back. These are my other I have it trimmed with cardinal satin and my yellow feather around it with a large bow of the satin behind. Will got me a new pair of shoes and some of these toe slippers the other day. And you ought to see the new Album for photographs and Cabinets I have and the two pictures help to fill it up it looks nicer with pictures in it. I have not gotten me any new dresses yet or are not going to untill I come from Flint. I guess I have told you all please don't mention any thing I have said in this letter direct to Illinois Street. Kiss little Mable for her Aunte Good write before I come home.

Well I was down the other day but could not find any Gingham to suit me. they have got some awfull pretty muslin if you would think that will be pretty you so I will get a letter Monday or Tuesday and I will get her enough for a dress.

Cora

Tell Pa that I think it would not make him sick to write to me and if it does I will pay the doctor bill. I tell you it is lonesome not to here from home at all.
